Une cavalerie driv\u00e9e par une bo\u00eete automatique \u00e0 4 rapports permettant un 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 6 secondes. Une vitesse maximale de 220 km\/h.<\/p>\n<h2>Mercedes r\u00eavait du titre WRC 1986<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 70, sous l\u2019impulsion de Erich Waxenberger, Mercedes-Benz s\u2019engagea en rallye. D\u00e8s la fin des ann\u00e9es 70, des r\u00e9sultats apparurent avec une 2\u00e8me et une 3\u00e8me place pour Bj\u00f6rn Waldegard et Andrew Cowan au Bandama, le rallye de C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, avec des Mercedes 450 SLC. Waldegard remporta l\u2019\u00e9preuve l\u2019ann\u00e9e suivante au volant d\u2019une 500 SLC. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour le championnat 1981, Mercedes est ambitieux et r\u00eave, \u00e0 terme, de remporter le titre en 1986, ann\u00e9e du centenaire de l\u2019automobile. Le champion du monde en titre, Walter R\u00f6hrl, est d\u00e9bauch\u00e9 de chez Fiat pour piloter la 500SL Rally. Sauf que Erich Waxenberger veut deux voitures au sein de son team. Ce que Mercedes refuse de financer. Les deux parties se montrent inflexibles, le projet est cass\u00e9 et Walter R\u00f6hrl rebondit en quelques jours chez Porsche o\u00f9 il s&#8217;offre une parenth\u00e8se sur piste et remporte notamment les 6 Heures de Silverstone au volant d\u2019une 935J. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La vedette de cette vid\u00e9o fut l\u2019une des quatre 500SL Rally qui devait \u00eatre mise \u00e0 disposition pour le championnat 1981. Finalement sa carri\u00e8re fut bien diff\u00e9rente, navigant entre concours d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gance et mus\u00e9es.
