Parlons de la Skoda Favorit !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les ann\u00e9es 80\u2026 Ses bandes fluo, la new wave et les derniers jours du communisme\u2026 Tout du moins en Europe. \u00c0 l\u2019est du Mur, les aspirations lib\u00e9rales phosphorent en secret. Solidarnosc voit le jour en Pologne le 31 ao\u00fbt 1980. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En Tch\u00e9coslovaquie, Skoda produit p\u00e9niblement 200 000 voitures par an (au mieux). Des propulsions, \u00e0 moteur arri\u00e8re comme la 105. La firme de Mlada Boleslav en a produit plus de 840 000 entre 1976 et 1988. Pour autant, son remplacement est envisag\u00e9 d\u00e8s 1983. Et le moins que l\u2019on puisse dire c\u2019est que tout est remis en question. \u00c0 commencer par l\u2019id\u00e9e de collaborer avec les entreprises de l\u2019Ouest. En effet, le programme du prototype 781 int\u00e8gre Bertone pour le style et Porsche pour l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et la r\u00e9alisation des prototypes. Une r\u00e9volution culturelle est en marche bien que l\u2019\u00c9tat demeure dans le processus de d\u00e9cision. Quitte \u00e0 prendre du retard\u2026<\/p>\n<h2>4 ans pour arriver \u00e0 la production<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le projet 781 aboutit \u00e0 la Skoda Favorit, reprenant le patronyme d\u2019un mod\u00e8le des&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosphere.fr\/blog\/media\/technologie\/au-coeur-de-skoda-sans-bouger-de-chez-soi-\/2052\/\">ann\u00e9es 30<\/a>. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une berline \u00e0 hayon et traction. Une premi\u00e8re ! Le moteur lui n\u2019a pas vraiment chang\u00e9. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un 4 cylindres essence 1,3l venu de la Skoda 125. Selon les versions, il d\u00e9veloppe entre 54 et 68 chevaux. Une version break (1990) ainsi qu\u2019une version pick-up ont suivi. En 8 ans de carri\u00e8re, la Skoda Favorit s\u2019\u00e9coula \u00e0 plus d\u2019un million d\u2019exemplaires (dont 780 000 berlines).<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fuXUifBcp-c\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Explosions des co\u00fbts et chute du Mur<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Succ\u00e8s d\u2019estime, y compris \u00e0 l\u2019Ouest, la Skoda Favorit a n\u00e9anmoins demand\u00e9 d\u2019importants investissements. La chute du Mur, l\u2019explosion de l\u2019URSS a offert un vent de libert\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Est et entrain\u00e9 une vague de privatisation. En ce qui concerne Skoda, cela ne tarda pas ! Le 28 mars 1991, Volkswagen remporte la comp\u00e9tition face \u00e0 Renault et rach\u00e8te 31% du constructeur tch\u00e8que contre 620 millions de Deutschmarks, soit environ 493 millions d\u2019euros (en Deutschmarks constants). Une prise de contr\u00f4le qui contribua fortement \u00e0 faire de Volkswagen le g\u00e9ant mondial qu\u2019il est aujourd\u2019hui. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">25 ans plus tard, Skoda produit plus d\u2019un million de v\u00e9hicule par an. 2 000 employ\u00e9s travaillent aujourd\u2019hui dans l\u2019usine de Mlada Boleslav.
