Exigeante pour les m\u00e9caniques, la course l\u2019est tout autant pour les pilotes et le team Ford Chip Ganassi Racing de nous montrer comment ses pilotes se pr\u00e9parent physiquement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En alignant 4 Ford GT sur la ligne de d\u00e9part de la 84e \u00e9dition des 24 Heures du Mans, Ford se donne un maximum de chances de remporter la cat\u00e9gorie LMGTE Pro. Car le double tour d\u2019horloge de la Sarthe peut r\u00e9server bien des surprises m\u00e9caniques, tactiques, m\u00e9t\u00e9o\u2026 C\u2019est pourquoi les \u00e9curies essayent de r\u00e9duire, un peu, la part de l\u2019al\u00e9atoire. Cela passe forc\u00e9ment par une fiabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 toute \u00e9preuve des machines comme des organismes. Voil\u00e0 plusieurs semaines, le Team Chip Ganassi Racing nous a propos\u00e9 une vid\u00e9o dans laquelle nous accompagnons les pilotes Harry Tincknell et Stefan M\u00fccke dans leur pr\u00e9paration physique pour les 24 Heures du Mans. Ou comment au c\u0153ur de l\u2019hiver, il ne s\u2019agit d\u00e9j\u00e0 plus de faire semblant !<\/p>\n<h2>Un corps sain dans un esprit sain<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Si Ford nous pr\u00e9sente le travail de ces deux pilotes, c\u2019est que l\u2019Anglais comme l\u2019Allemand ont l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du rendez-vous manceau. Le premier (24 ans, en illustration) a remport\u00e9 la cat\u00e9gorie LMP2 avec le Team Jota Sport en 2014. Le second (34 ans) disputera la course pour la neuvi\u00e8me fois d\u2019affil\u00e9e (3e en GTE Pro en 2012 et 2013 avec Aston Martin).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On d\u00e9couvre ainsi les multiples exercices de musculation et de relaxation qui doivent permettre aux pilotes d\u2019encaisser sans broncher les G pris dans les virages, les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations, les freinages\u2026 voire les chocs. Garder leur calme et accepter des temp\u00e9ratures qui peuvent approcher les 50\u00b0. Cette pr\u00e9paration physique est compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par un travail psychologique ainsi que les services d\u2019un nutritionniste.
