T\u00e2chons de corriger son image.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 2005, Peugeot commercialise une citadine \u00e0 deux portes lat\u00e9rales coulissantes. Un minispace pour lequel il convenait de d\u00e9bourser pr\u00e8s de 15 000 euros et dont le comportement routier fut tr\u00e8s critiqu\u00e9. Pourtant, la 1007 avait de nombreux avantages pour elle. <\/p>\n<h2>Un v\u00e9hicule original<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autosphere.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/d14fff0e8fe710953ccc43ea45a9ad41.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outre d\u2019\u00eatre la voiture qui inaugura la d\u00e9nomination 00 cens\u00e9e repr\u00e9senter les v\u00e9hicules orignaux de Peugeot,  la 1007 fut la premi\u00e8re voiture au monde \u00e0 disposer de deux portes lat\u00e9rales coulissantes. Dans un contexte d\u2019utilisation urbaine, cette invention avait un int\u00e9r\u00eat pratique et s\u00e9curitaire en plus d\u2019\u00e9viter de nombreux petits chocs du quotidien. Mieux, la 1007 passa les tests Euro NCAP avec les f\u00e9licitations du jury. En 2005, seules quelques berlines haut de gamme font mieux comme la C5 ou la Classe C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Avec ses deux portes coulissantes et une bouille plut\u00f4t amusante, Peugeot esp\u00e9rait bien grignoter des parts de march\u00e9 \u00e0 MINI tout en conservant les aptitudes du monospace, pas encore d\u00e9finitivement d\u00e9mod\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque. D\u2019autant que l\u2019habitacle int\u00e9grait l\u2019id\u00e9e encore balbutiante de la personnalisation. Le pack Cam\u00e9l\u00e9o (\u00e0 250\u20ac) permettait en un quart d\u2019heure de modifier l\u2019int\u00e9rieur \u00e0 travers 12 couleurs. Pr\u00e9curseur de l\u2019\u00e9clairage d\u2019ambiance pour ainsi dire.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi 70 chevaux ?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Globalement, le probl\u00e8me avec la 1007 venait du poids du v\u00e9hicule. 1 400 kg pour une citadine avant m\u00eame de monter \u00e0 bord, c\u2019est beaucoup trop, m\u00eame en 2005. Du coup, il n\u2019y avait aucun plaisir au volant de cette voiture et m\u00eame des d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ments avec les versions en bo\u00eete automatique (bo\u00eete 2-Tronic). Une voiture lourde (qui a le m\u00e9rite de bien tenir la route, mais aussi de bien freiner) qui \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de 14 600 euros en entr\u00e9e de gamme avec une motorisation de 70 ou 75 chevaux (selon diesel ou essence). Ce qui nous fait un rapport poids\/puissance tr\u00e8s optimiste de 20 kg\/cheval. Les versions 1,4l de 90 chevaux et surtout de 110 chevaux (en essence ou diesel) sont beaucoup plus appr\u00e9ciables en association avec la bo\u00eete de vitesse manuelle \u00e0 5 rapports. La diff\u00e9rence ? Un agr\u00e9ment de conduite acceptable et pas moins de 4 secondes de moins dans l\u2019exercice du 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dans le r\u00f4le d\u2019une seconde voiture, parfaite pour le quotidien, original et longue de tout juste 3,73 m\u00e8tres, la 1007 m\u00e9rite une seconde chance.
