Ils avaient fait grimper la puissance \u00e0 820 chevaux !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour cela, les techniciens de Renault et de l\u2019usine Matra de Romorantin s\u2019\u00e9taient creus\u00e9s les m\u00e9ninges et \u00e9taient parvenus \u00e0 conserver 4 places tout en adaptant un ch\u00e2ssis m\u00ealant fibre de carbone et aluminium capable d\u2019encaisser les spectaculaires charges. 4 disques de freins carbone ventil\u00e9s, des pneumatiques Michelin des plus sportifs, des prises d\u2019air \u00e0 gogo ainsi qu\u2019un immense aileron arri\u00e8re dans la plus pure tradition des pelles \u00e0 tarte. Finalement, l\u2019ensemble ne pesait que 1 300 kg. <\/p>\n<h2>0 \u00e0 200 km\/h en moins de 7 secondes. <\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Deux prototypes du Renault Espace F1 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9s en 1994 dans l\u2019optique d\u2019une vaste op\u00e9ration de communication rondement men\u00e9e. En effet, en jumelant V10 de F1 et monospace familial, Renault parvenait avec un seul v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 d\u00e9montrer tous ses talents de motoriste et de cr\u00e9ateur d\u2019automobiles comme il sera dit un peu plus tard. Expos\u00e9 porte de Versailles, l\u2019Espace F1 fut \u00e9galement confi\u00e9 \u00e0 Alain Prost pour quelques s\u00e9ances de d\u00e9monstration sur circuit avant de tomber peu \u00e0 peu dans l\u2019anonymat. Jusqu\u2019en 2002, o\u00f9 Renault d\u00e9cide de redonner vie \u00e0 son invention, en la confiant cette fois-ci \u00e0 Jean Ragnotti, alors que le losange a annonc\u00e9 son retour en F1. L\u2019occasion de constater que le 0 \u00e0 200 km\/h est toujours formalis\u00e9 en 6,9 secondes (la McLaren P1 de 2013 ne met qu&#8217;un dixi\u00e8me de moins !) avant d&#8217;atteindre 300 km\/h de vitesse de pointe. L\u2019occasion aussi de savourer la sonorit\u00e9 diabolique d\u2019un moteur de F1 des 90\u2019s !<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dGUyIOGVa0M\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Un Espace V avec le Power Unit actuel ?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le Renault Espace F1, un show car symptomatique d\u2019une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 tout allait bien pour la firme au losange.
