Cette technologie brevet\u00e9e par Bosch a vocation \u00e0 limiter, et m\u00eame emp\u00eacher, le blocage des roues lors d\u2019un freinage important qui plus est lorsque la chauss\u00e9e est d\u00e9grad\u00e9e (humidit\u00e9, gel, neige, feuilles mortes\u2026). Pour cela, des capteurs sur chaque roue permettent \u00e0 un micro-processeur d\u2019analyser en quasi permanence les conditions d\u2019adh\u00e9rence lors du freinage. La rempla\u00e7ante de la Granada pens\u00e9e pour l\u2019Europe devait offrir une alternative cr\u00e9dible aux berlines allemandes et fut \u00e9lue voiture europ\u00e9enne de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1986. Nul doute que cette avanc\u00e9e technologique y a contribu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En France, c\u2019est par Citro\u00ebn que l\u2019ABS fut introduit pour la premi\u00e8re fois de s\u00e9rie sur une voiture. La CX GTI Turbo arrive quelques mois apr\u00e8s la Scorpio mais toujours en 1985.
