Nous sommes au printemps 2015 et il se dit, s\u2019entend et s\u2019\u00e9crit que Citro\u00ebn a dans l\u2019id\u00e9e de ressusciter la M\u00e9hari sous une forme \u00e9lectrique, qui plus est \u00e0 l\u2019approche des 50 ans de son lancement et, alors, dans un contexte de la COP21. Voiture de plage embl\u00e9matique, l\u00e9g\u00e8re et bon march\u00e9, elle poss\u00e8de un ind\u00e9niable caract\u00e8re \u00ab feel good \u00bb. Le r\u00e9sultat fut s\u00e9duisant avec un v\u00e9hicule l\u00e9ger et m\u00eame d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 mais aussi water proof (l\u2019habitacle lavable au jet d\u2019eau) expliquant certains boutons plus crois\u00e9s depuis 20 ans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tLe hic de cette e-M\u00e9hari (hormis un march\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique pr\u00e9-Diesel Gate) ce sont les batteries LMP. Des batteries qui n\u00e9cessitent d\u2019\u00eatre recharg\u00e9es plus souvent que n\u00e9cessaire afin de maintenir une temp\u00e9rature optimale sous peine de perdre en autonomie. Ainsi, la voiture de plage peut voir ses batteries vid\u00e9es par l\u2019inactivit\u00e9, remis\u00e9e dans un garage entre octobre et juin. En marge de  \t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosphere.fr\/blog\/media\/essais\/le-chant-des-cigales-en-e-mehari\/9596\/\">notre essai de la e-M\u00e9hari<\/a>, on a d\u2019ailleurs appris que les objectifs de vente (minimes) s\u2019orientaient vers la commande publique, les personnels de golf ou encore quelques agents immobiliers de la C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur et du Pays Basque. Pas de quoi \u00e9couler des milliers de v\u00e9hicules par an, qui plus est \u00e0 partir de 25 500 euros par an.<\/p>\n<h2>Faire de la place<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tJamais l\u2019objectif de Citro\u00ebn fut d\u2019inonder le march\u00e9 de la voiture \u00e9lectrique avec sa e-M\u00e9hari. Du reste, nous en avons tr\u00e8s peu vu sur nos routes. Pour la marque aux chevrons, la e-M\u00e9hari \u00e9tait une vitrine. Sauf qu\u2019il est d\u00e9sormais temps de passer \u00e0 autre chose, l\u2019usine PSA rennaise a besoin de cette ligne de production. Site o\u00f9 sont produits les Peugeot 5008 et Citro\u00ebn C5 Aircross. Reste qu\u2019avec l\u2019antique C-Z\u00e9ro, Citro\u00ebn apparait plus que jamais comme un constructeur tr\u00e8s en retard sur la voiture \u00e9lectrique.
