Mais il y a 10 ans, c\u2019\u00e9tait le coup\u00e9 cabriolet &nbsp;avec toit rigide \u00e9lectriquement r\u00e9tractable qui avait le vent en poupe, avant de tomber en d\u00e9su\u00e9tude.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Au tournant des ann\u00e9es 2000, Peugeot a connu un fort succ\u00e8s commercial et d\u2019image avec sa 206 CC. Un toit rigide \u00e9lectriquement escamotable, un peu comme sur une Mercedes SLK, mais plus populaire. Un succ\u00e8s europ\u00e9en ! 360 000 mod\u00e8les vendus dans le monde jusqu\u2019en 2006. De quoi en faire le mod\u00e8le le plus vendu de sa cat\u00e9gorie dans le monde. Les Allemands s\u2019en ach\u00e8teront \u00e0 eux seuls 100 000 !  Cela parait fou en 2014, non ?! Si bien que les 207 CC, 307 CC et 308 CC suivront. Et que la concurrence r\u00e9pondra.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autosphere.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/d505d7dd2abbeaa9be27ca85813051b0.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chez Volkswagen par exemple naquit la Eos. Un magnifique coup\u00e9-cabriolet d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de la Golf 5. Mais voil\u00e0, le mod\u00e8le chassait sur un march\u00e9 qui s\u2019est r\u00e9tr\u00e9cie et o\u00f9 la concurrence s\u2019est pr\u00e9cipit\u00e9e (M\u00e9gane CC, Astra Twin Top\u2026). En 2013, \u00e0 peine 8 000 Eos ont trouv\u00e9 preneur sur les 9,5 millions de v\u00e9hicules vendues par le groupe. Si bien que des nombreux m\u00e9dias ont indiqu\u00e9 cette semaine la fin de la production de la Eos et son non remplacement. <\/p>\n<h2>La faute \u00e0 la capote souple ? Seulement ? <\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab<em> Certaines niches sont si petites qu\u2019elles n\u2019en valent pas la peine<\/em> \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le PDG de Volkswagen, Martin Winterkorn. Des propos repris partout, mais qui n\u2019explique pas tout. Car aujourd\u2019hui la mode est au retour \u00e0 la capote souple ! De la Citro\u00ebn DS3 cabrio \u00e0 la Jaguar F-Type !  D\u2019ailleurs, le groupe Volkswagen l\u2019a constat\u00e9 et mis en application depuis quelques temps. Dans le catalogue de la firme de Wolfsburg, on retrouve aujourd\u2019hui une Golf cabriolet\u2026 \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019une capote souple et un peu moins ch\u00e8re qu\u2019une Eos d\u2019environ 2 000 euros \u00e0 motorisation \u00e9gale.
